How your message reaches us (transfer abroad)
Our contact form is delivered to us by a third-party form service, Web3Forms, which forwards your message to our email inbox. This means the details you submit are processed on servers located in the United States of America. The USA is recognised by Switzerland as providing adequate data protection under the Swiss–US Data Privacy Framework. Your details are used only to deliver and respond to your enquiry.
Cookies and tracking
Our website does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not use analytics that profile you. Our embedded Google Map does not load automatically. It only loads, and may set Google cookies, if you choose to click "Load Google Map". Please refer to Google's privacy policy for details.
How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry messages only for as long as needed to respond to you and support your involvement with GESMA, typically no longer than the duration of our correspondence or your family's participation in our programmes, after which we delete them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under Swiss data protection law (and the GDPR where it applies) you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to or restrict its processing.
To exercise any of these rights, just email info@gesma.ch and we will help.
If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) at www.edoeb.admin.ch. If you are in the EU, you may also contact your local data protection authority.
Children
Where enquiries concern a child, we ask that they be made by a parent or guardian. We process a child's personal data only with the involvement and consent of their parent or guardian.
